It has been a little difficult for me to know what prayer requests to make. There have been quite a few changes in Presbyterian involvement in China over the last few years, including the quite a number of people finishing their terms of service, and we now probably need to do some re-evaluation of where PC USA should be focusing its efforts. I'll be in meetings in Louisville at the end of September, and hope those will provide a clearer sense of where we (PCUSA/us) should be headed in China work over the next few years. Probably the best thing to prayer for is guidance as we (us/PCUSA staff/Presbyterians engaged with China) think through these future directions.
