 Why?

Small groups enable the believer to make even the largest church a family of faith from which to experience Christ, grow in faith, and be part of a circle of care.

 How Do I Plug In?

Contact Baron at (423) 926-5108 and he will help you connect to a group that fits your needs.

 What Is Available?

ChristCare Groups:

Meets every two weeks.  Meetings center around Bible study, prayer,  fellowship and service.  Typical meetings last an hour and a half.

 Presbyterian Women:

Meet monthly in groups called Cirsles.  The purpose of these groups is to nurture faith, support mission, and build community.

 Core Groups:

Meet periodically for special studies related to growing as disciples of Christ.  Recent examples would include: a Women's Bible study on Ephesians; "Financial Peace University" groups; and, a sermon series discussion group using the "Come Thirsty" Max Lucado materials.

 Prayer and Reflection Groups:

Meet monthly.  These groups have formed to help the participants strengthen their prayer life and prayer for themselves and others.  Many groups exist and more are forming.

 Fellowship Groups:

Meet periodically around interests.  Ongoing examples include cooking classes, "dinners for eight" supper clubs, and a knitting group.

 Student Small Groups:

There is a College, a Senior High and a Junior High small group that meets weekly.  Contact Baron about the college group, and Paul to learn about the Junior and Senior High School groups.
