Good Samaritan Lunch                                    when: 3rd Monday monthly where: The Melting Pot mission: to prepare and serve  a nutritious lunch to members of the downtown community

Appalachia Service Project!

when: 2 weekends per year where: Jonesville, VA mission: to repair substandard housing in rural Virginia

 

Interfaith Hospitality Network!

when: every 8th week where: 1st Presbyterian host church mission: an interdenominational effort to provide housing, jobs, and counseling for homeless families

 

The Breakfast Club!                                                         when: 2nd Saturday morning monthly where: W. Main Christian and 1st Pres. alternately mission: to provide a time of fellowship and prayer between partner churches as they plan various activities for the downtown community

 

1st Presbyterian supports MANY local ministries financially, as well!
